About Us
We are 2 engineering students at the University of Alabama. We both enjoy working with engines and always want to keep ourselves busy with new, exciting projects.
John Glidden III
Aerospace Engineer
Ever since I was a little kid, I dreamed of a job in the aviation and aerospace industry. In middle school, I joined the Civil Air Patrol and became a certified Ground Team Search and Rescue Leader, and learned about basic aerospace principles. Later, in high school, I obtained my pilot's license and instrument rating to further advance my knowledge and understanding of aviation.

I am currently studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Alabama, along with a specialty track to the MBA. I work as a student research assistant for the Remote Sensing Center, developing air and ground based radar systems. On the side, I volunteer as an EMT in my hometown of Closter, NJ.
I hope to work in the aerospace industry to design and build the next great aircraft of our future.

Mechanical Engineer
Growing up, I always had in interest in how mechanical things worked. While my friends were playing video games and sports, I felt my time was better spent building and analyzing different mechanical machines. My involvement in engineering really started in high school after I got my first car. Since then, I have always had an extreme interest in piston and turbine engines.
At the University of Alabama, I am studying Mechanical Engineering and will be specializing in internal combustion engines. During the school year, I am a full-time student and currently the President of the Clay shooting team at the University.
In the future, I hope to have the opportunity to design the next generation of internal combustion engines.
